I know today is not #throwbackthursday, but this photo popped up in my Facebook memories from our Civil War Reenacting days. This is one of my favorite photos of my beautiful daughter. I love her bunches and bunches! 💕💕 #civilwarreenacting #homeschooldays #2011

Homeschooling my children was probably one of the scariest things I have ever done in my life. I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t have all the answers. I made a lot of mistakes as a homeschool mom. If I could go back and do it all over again, I know there are a lot of things I would do differently. But those years and those challenges shaped our family. Thank you Lord for the freedom we still have to homeschool our children in this country. I pray that my children can one day have to freedom to make the same educational choice for their children #throwbackthursday #2004 #homeschool #familyfieldtrip #kittyhawk #northcarolina #reallifelearning
